Before The Year Runs Out…
Quote of the Day: Your purpose is greater than your challenges.
It’s being a while since I wrote a poem or continued the many books I started and it alarms me sometimes. One would think that the place from whence inspiration comes dried up but really, God did promise to never leave nor forsake me.
John 7:38 comes to mind and I’m reminded that as long as I believe in Him, out of my belly shall flow rivers of living water, so, when doubt arises with that question; are you losing it? All it does is reaffirm the fact that I am yet to exhaust the gift He gave me so it is quite unreal to loose something so innate.
By His grace, today, the 2nd of November (it’s amazing how time flies), this is what I leave you with;
2015 is eleven months gone. Give it time and November will go past in a flash. So as December really approaches one can’t help but wonder; How much have I achieved? Really, jokes aside, what have you achieved? How have you grown, what are you doing with your life? At this point, how far did you really go to realize your goals?
Take 15 minutes out of your day today and reflect on this. How far have you come since Janurary? Did you really set goals and achieve them? If you didn’t, well, 2015 isn’t over yet. Challenge yourself to achieve something before the year runs out.
Don’t scream Happy New Year with family/friends and silently wonder if the others around you were equally unfulfilled. Really consider it now when you can still help it.
What have you done since? Well, start already. For those who have started, keep up the good work and wrap things up now. Let fulfillment become you.
Bear in mind the message from Proverbs 16:3 that says commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established. Before you start on that project, be it self or otherwise, it will do you well if you first commit things to God. The scripture reaffirms His plan to prospers and not harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future so for His promise to be made manifest in your life, commit things to Him before you begin.
So like I have repeated preached here on InspiredLives. Turn to God daily and let him be the force that drives you. Always put Him first in all you do…always.
